The Blacked Eyes Peas Anything But Super?

So, what did you think of the Blacked Eyed Peas Performance during the halftime show of Super Bowl XLV last night?  I thought it was OK, but had to wonder who dressed them, especially Fergie?  I was texting with a friend, when her son asked why she was wearing shoulder pads.  My daughter's answer, "it's football, everybody wears shoulder pads."  Lol.

The box heads on stage were a bit odd... the glow in the dark people were cool...  but the performance seemed to me to lack the usual Super Bowl energy.  Then there were technical issues as well.  Fergie's mic wasn't turned up initially, and their voices didn't come across as well as we're used too.  The mic also seemed low when Usher was lowered down onto the stage.  Hey, I guess you can give them credit for not lip syncing the show...  and the wardrobe did appear to eliminate any possibilities of a malfunction!

I love The Peas...  and I bet being there was amazing, but watching it on television was slightly disappointing last night.  Makes me wish I would have done that extra load of laundry... lol!
