Pumpkins come in all shapes, sizes and colors these days.  Some though, may amaze you.  Like the more than 16-hundred pound pale orange one that won the Great Pumpkin Farm's annual pumpkin weigh off last weekend!

A plumber from the Syracuse area sure knows how to grow them!  Gary Adams somehow managed to turn a seedling into a one-thousand-six-hundred-thirteen-and-a-half (1613.5) pound pumpkin this year.

Adams was one of 14 contestants at the Great Pumpkin Farm's annual pumpkin weigh off Saturday morning.  He walked away with a five-thousand-dollar ($5000) prize for his efforts.

The pumpkin weigh off is just one of many events at the Great Pumpkin Farm this month.  Kids will love everything from the Boo Barn complete with a mind dazzling vortex to the new five-acre corn maze.  There's also a pumpkin cannon, hayrides and a tasty bakery and Halloween store stacked with the most unique decorations for the holiday.  Check it all out at the Great Pumpkin Farm!
