Titanic Recreation Underway: Iceberg Not Included [VIDEO]
Maybe it's just me, but the thought of following, as closely as possible, the exact route of RMS Titanic to commemorate the centennial of its only voyage sounds more than a little creepy. But that's what some 1,309 souls are up to this week.The good ship Balmoral left Southampton, England, the Titanic's starting point, yesterday. Here's a report from CBS News on the trip:
If all goes well [it probably will, of course. But that's what they said about the first voyage...], the Balmoral should be over the Titanic in time to commemorate the centennial of the maritime tragedy late next Saturday night into Sunday morning. I'm sorry, it's still creepy.
