Weird News, How Not To Get Married!

This is not the best way to get a marriage proposal! In Chicago, 40-year-old Ana Perez called 911--to try to get police to scare her boyfriend into proposing to her! When she made the call, she claimed her boyfriend was attacking her but when police arrived, she changed her story, admitting she was just trying to scare her boyfriend into marrying her. Amazingly the police were not the least bit amused by her story and promptly charged her with disorderly conduct. Capt. Ronald Pontecore said officers raced to the scene, believing a woman was in danger, "only to find out it's something ridiculous like that." Even more amazing, the boyfriend apparently had no intention of marrying Miss Perez and was actually in the process of breaking up with her. (Chicago Sun Times)
