West Seneca Celebrates USA’s Matt Anderson [VIDEO]

Olympian Matt Anderson could probably hear the cheering in London as family members and friends gathered in West Seneca to watch him compete Thursday afternoon (August 2). WIVB said it seemed that everyone at Flattery's was cheering on Matt and Team USA.

On Sunday (July 28), Team USA beat Serbia, with Anderson scoring more points than any other player on his team.

Matt's sister, Joelle Vanegas, said, "Play hard, stay focused and as long as the team continues to meld, they'll hopefully make it to the gold medal round."

Town gathers to cheer on WNY Olympian
