Wet Nose Wednesday — Meet “Simmons” [PICTURES + VIDEOS]

Each week, we’re (GLADLY!) visited by a volunteer from the Buffalo Animal Shelter with a new pet that’s waiting for their FURever home. We highlight the animal on Wednesdays around 7:35 a.m. on the air….Plus, you can catch more pets on WKBW’s AM Buffalo during “Pet Talk Tuesdays”.

Simmons walked in the room, and the whole place lit up! He's energetic at first, until he finds some soothing, petting hands...then he's like Play-Doh! He immediately flips on his back for belly rubs. This year-and-a-half-old guy will make a GREAT pet!!!

Please note: While the Buffalo Animal Shelter NEVER takes time off, sometimes we do at Joy FM. Due to the holiday and vacation schedules, there will be no "Wet Nose Wednesday" feature on December 11, December 25 or January 1. We will return to weekly features after the New Year.
