What’s The Worst Way To Start Your Morning?

My morning today was quite memorable.  

We all have those days when things don't go right. There are many things that can slow or stop your morning.

• Stuck in a huge traffic backup
• Weather -- especially this time of the year
• Wardrobe trouble -- spilling the coffee stinks
• Kids running late
• Car problems

I was on my way to work this morning when I heard a "thump thump thump".  So as soon as I could (I was in a construction zone, so it wasn't immediate), I pulled over.

Yup, flat tire. I called AAA, and they came about 45 minutes later, once the tow truck found me because of the dispatcher's bad directions. He put the donut on, and I was on my way, about an hour and a half later.

Went to a local service station where I thought I purchased the 6-month-old tires to check about a warranty. Turns out I bought them from another store, but they said they'd take a look anyway. They checked it out and called me back. The tire was not fixable because I had driven too far on it, which wasn't far at all.

So I called the place I originally bought them from. They said I purchased everything except the road hazard warranty (lesson learned), and a new tire will run me $135.
