Batman. The Caped Crusader. The Dark Knight. The money-making movie franchise. But who has been best at playing Bruce Wayne's secret identity?

Not everybody remembers this, but Adam West, who starred as Batman in the '60s live-action series, also made a movie, battling The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman and The Riddler. The character was so burned out after the insane popularity of the short-lived TV show that, except for a few cartoon adaptations, he rested until the late 1980s.

In the late '80s-early '90s, several Batman movies were made, starring, at various times, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney. Since they all basically played him the same way, we'll just combine all three of them as "Michael Val Clooney" in the poll below.

In the most recent incarnation, Christian Bale has taken on the role of The Dark Knight. Bale's third, and possibly final, performance hits theatres on July 20. In honor of the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises, we're asking:
