In 1982, I was 6 years old.  I was already well on my way to being a rather emphatic Michael Jackson fan, and was certain he would one day be my boyfriend.  "Thriller" had just been released, and I wanted nothing more for Christmas that year than that record, complete with the cool fold-out picture of him posing with a baby tiger.

Christmas morning, my mom handed me a beautifully wrapped, 33rpm, record-jacket-sized package.   The label read "To: Laura, From: Santa".  My heart started pounding.  I started sweating with anticipation.  I can still see it crystal clear in my mind's eye....I ripped off the wrapping paper and let out the most blood-curdling scream known to man.  Santa had answered my one and only wish that season, and if my family owned a camcorder at the time, I'm sure I would've reached YouTube stardom.

Enter 10 year old James Groccia, a young man with Asperger's Syndrome who uses LEGOs to improve his social skills.  In September, he wrote to the company after finding a certain set he really wanted was, in fact, discontinued.  LEGO responded...with a vengeance.  Here's the video....may want to prepare yourself with a box of tissues, because you will cry...
