Almond Milk Cookie Cutouts

My daughter is allergic to milk so we adapted the family buttermilk cookie recipe to meet her needs.
Almond Milk Cutout Cookies
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 cups Crisco
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Mix all of the above ingredients, and then alternate adding the milk and mixed dry ingredients:
- 2 cups vanilla flavored almond milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 7-8 cups flour
Let it sit overnight in the fridge. Roll out onto a floured surface about 1/4 inch thick and bake cut outs at 375 degrees for 8-11 minutes.
