My family will likely spend some time relaxing with a movie or two this weekend.  My son only has two ballgames, and then we've got a couple of days off to enjoy time with family, friends and each other!  When we all have some time off like this, we like to make some popcorn and watch an "old" movie.  At least my kids think their "old."  Here are a few of my picks for this weekend:

"Independence Day" with Will Smith would be a great one to watch with the family. (Rated PG-13)

"Forest Gump" with Tom Hanks is another great movie that deals with American life and the Vietnam War. My kids have seen at least parts of this one, so use your own judgement obviously! (Rated PG-13)

"Born on the Fourth of July" with Tom Cruise may be one to watch if your kids are older. It maybe a bit controversial and dramatic, but still a great movie. (Rated-R)

"Coming to America" with Eddie Murphy is a classic comedy to watch after the kids head off to bed. (Rated-R)
