Winston (Submitted by Christine Eckstrom)
Winston just joined our family. He is seven weeks old and a whopping 2 pounds, 6 ounces. He loves his chewy toy, and he is just a joy to have. My neighbor captured this wonderful picture of Winston; he is very photogenic, don't you think?
Tucker (Submitted by Bryelle Cortright)
Tucker is a very laid back, happy-go-lucky dog! He loves swimming and hanging out with his best buddy, Bandit! He also doesn't mind getting dressed up for special occasions! Tucker is a 4-year-old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix).
Rosa (Submitted by Lynne Solina)
Rosa was born on May 30, 2012 and is a mini Australian Shepherd/MinPin mix. She is extremely energetic and smart. She loves all dogs, cats, her kong, swimming, taking baths, getting blow dried, brushing her teeth and car rides. She dislikes staring contests.
Jersey (Submitted by Melissa Tatarka)
Jersey is a 1-year-old female purebred Boxer. She has a very spunky and energetic attitude!!! Jersey loves to go for long walks at the park, cuddles under the covers at night and sits up on her hinds leg for her treats (her Papa taught her that)! Jersey is an avid supporter for breast cancer research in honor of her grandma! She will be attending her first breast cancer walk in October!
Achilles (Submitted by Maria Monaco)
Achilles is my German Shepherd puppy. He is the sweetest and silliest dog that always gets me to laugh. He likes to eat ice cubes, and when it’s treat time, he will do all of his tricks before waving his paw at you as if to say "Hey! Look what I'm doing! Don't I deserve a treat?"
Sparky (Submitted by Kate Perillo)
Sparky is 9 years old, turning 10 this August! He is a mutt, part Beagle and part Golden Retriever. He loves to chew on empty water bottles and empty paper towel rolls. Most of the time he acts like a cat, rolling around on the rug and rubbing up against everyone's legs. He can turn black pants white from all the shedding he does, but we love his fluff anyway.
Ginger (Submitted by Brittany Kelley)
Hi! My name is Ginger, I am a red and white Siberian Husky. I am four months old and a little ball of energy. I love, love, love water! Call me a fish if you'd like! I love my family, including my cat brother Kiwi. My favorite toy is my squeaky fox and pig ears! I will gladly sit and give you my paw for a special treat
Bella (Submitted by Sarah-Elizabeth Viman)
Bella was born on May 19, 2012. She is a 1-year-old purebred tri-colored Beagle puppy and as cute as can be. She is very hyperactive and has lots of energy to play and run around. She loves going out for daily walks and enjoys hunting some of the rodents in our backyard. Surprisingly for a Beagle, she is a very good listener; I was able to teach her how to play a game where I would hide a treat and she would go off and sniff the place to find the treat. She loves to be praised and begs to be pet. The crate isn't her best friend, but she'll go in it only if she has her favorite purple blanket. Out of all the wonderful Beagles I've seen in my life, Bella is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Sometimes when I go out with her, people cant resist, they need to pet her. Even though at times she can be a real handful -- for example: howling in the middle of the night -- she is truly my best friend, and I will forever love her.
Molly (Submitted by Dana Papaj)
Molly is the most lovable little dog! She is a mixed breed: part Poodle, Bichon and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She came into my life at a time when I needed healing: My mother passed away seven months ago, then our family pet died in April, both leaving a giant hole in my heart. My daughter convinced me another dog was what I needed. Reluctantly I got Molly, and I haven't regretted it for a day. She brings so much joy to our home, which was so sad for so long. She loves people and other animals, and you can't help but smile when you are around her. I can't say enough about how truly wonderful she is!
Scout (Submitted by Jocelyn Balone)
Scout is 10 years old, and he was rescued from a puppy mill, so we think he is a Maltese mix. Scout loves to bark at birds, cars, the vacuum cleaner, etc. Scout also loves treats!
