Godsmack And Staind Rock Darien Lake [PHOTOS]

Rock returned to Six Flags Darien Lake as Staind and Godsmack co-headlined a show on Sunday.

The weather was far from ideal, but the rock fans at Six Flags didn't seem to mind and the bands were having a blast while the rain came down.

While both bands are co-headlining the tour, Staind was the first to hit the stage on Sunday night. The band has been around since 1995 and even though some band members left for solo careers they all came back in 2019 and have been together since. They are expected to release their eighth studio album "Confessions of the Fallen" later this year.

Their set was full of old and new music and the crowd was into the music from the opening song "Lowest In Me" to the final song "Mudshovel"/

While the rain came to Six Flags, Godsmack took the stage. The weather didn't seem to bother the band as they played 15 songs during their time on stage. They even had some pyro effects during their opening song to get the crowd on their feet. They played a good mix of new and old and even covered Joe Walsh's "Rocky Mountain Way" in the middle of their set.

Godsmack has been around since 1995 and many rock fans have known them from their time on the Ozzfest. They have had 25 Top 10 songs on the rock charts along with three #1 albums.

While the weather wasn't perfect, the music and the vibe were for a night of rock and roll. Check out some photos from the show.
