As some of you know I ride a horse for the Sheriff's Office. Well  yesterday I had the chance to leave my trusty steed tied up and thanks to the Buffalo Police Department had a chance to ride a Segway (this was at the Police Explorer Competition Saturday at ECC North Law Enforcement Academy). It's pretty scary the first few minutes until you get the hang of it. It's all about bending your knees putting, slight pressure on the front and back of your feet and probably the most important...LOOKING STRAIGHT AHEAD when you attempt to get off. Watch for that in this video when you see people attempting to stop and step off. These things can take off  if you don't do it right.
