The Buffalo School Board could agree tonight on who Buffalo's next school superintendent might be.

The Board is considering Dr. Pamela Brown, who's been an administrator in Philadelphia and Charlotte, along with interim superintendent Amber Dixon and Edward Newsome, a school administrator in Maryland.

"As you get closer to the end, it seems to go more quickly, because you've narrowed down the field," said school board president Lou Petrucci. "So in the beginning, it's the advertisement, it's collecting the resumes for the different candidates and now, as you get to a smaller and smaller pool, things do move much more quickly," said Petrucci

The search began nine months ago when Dr. James Williams left the district.
