Bruce Willis has made plenty of headlines in recent months with his apparent disinterest in the spotlight, but will he be up to the task of hosting 'SNL' for the first time since 1989? The 'Die Hard' star will step up to the stage for this Saturday's follow-up to last week's Miley Cyrus outing, and the first previews at least bring us "The Return of Bruno." Ah, '80s humor.
Now that Bill Hader and Stefon have departed the show, we find ourselves treasuring every other recurring 'SNL' character and treating every appearance as if it's their last. That's just a long-winded way of saying "Welcome back, Drunk Uncle!" Bobby Moynihan's rambling, all-too honest (and all-too real) character once again graced the Weekend Update desk with his presence, updating us with his thoughts on current events and introducing us to a member of his extended family.
By the end of 'SNL''s most recent season, it had seemed apparent that longtime series stars Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis were bound to exit the sketch comedy show before the fall, though Sudeikis' departure was repeatedly implied to be unofficial, even debatable. Now, as the summer moves into its later months, the 'We're the Millers' star has officially confirmed his 'SNL' days are done.
In case you hadn't heard, Bill Hader has decided to leave Saturday Night Live after this season. In honor of that, his most infamous character, Stefon Zelesky, had a great farewell on Saturday night's show this past weekend!
Even after all of these years, SNL does fake commercials better than everyone else. However, last night's New Balance commercial parody is the cream of the crop -- it's hard to remember the last time the show made a fake ad that was this funny and spot-on. Check it out below.
I love old school SNL, and I'm so happy they brought the legends in! Saturday night, Justin Timberlake joined the five-timer club with Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Martin Short, Tom Hanks, Candice Bergman and more! Congrats!
I love Adam Levine and Maroon 5, but I have to say I was a little worried. A musician trying to act can be a train-wreck, but I was actually pretty impressed. Other than the obvious reading of the teleprompter through most of the skits, I think the show was good
Adam Levine will be hosting SNL this coming Saturday night and I am going to have to watch it. I love the poking back and forth on "The Voice" with Blake Shelton and if this promo is any indication, there will be some reference to that this weekend
