Taking selfies can be bad for your health.

Aside from the obvious, that taking selfies is a distraction, especially when driving, crossing the street...some say they are bad for you in other ways.

According to a beauty expert in Wales named Sara Cheeney, taking selfies might be as bad for your skin as lying out in the sun to get TAN.

Apparently the reason why is this.  Taking a selfie is like Lay's Potato Chips, you can't take just one...

And having the phone pointed directly at your face like that is just pounding it with electromagnetic "blue light" rays from the screen.

The blue rays from smart phone screens can do more damage than too much sunshine, so . . . be extra careful."

Think of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter...according to Sara, there is a lot of premature aging going on.
