The New Barbie — Average Is Beautiful [VIDEO]

It's about time.

There's a new line of dolls in the works based on what a normal, average, HEALTHY 19-year-old woman looks like...based on statistics from the CDC.

According to the designer's base model, she'd look a bit like this:

This all comes on the heels of another study that showed girls who play with the "current version" of Barbie dolls were more likely to see a glass ceiling MUCH lower than those who played with -- wait for it -- Mrs. Potato Head.

Check out this guy's mission....He needs $95,000 to get the idea off the ground...but because it seems LOTS of people agree with his idea, he's actually OVER budget by 219 percent. So hopefully we'll see them as a reality soon.
