Leap Day Babies Getting Special Treat This Year

It happens once every four years and this is the week that people who were born on Leap Day will have a chance to celebrate their birthday on the official day they were born, February 29th.

This year, Leap Day Babies will be getting a special treat from Tops Friendly Markets. Anyone and Everyone who was born on Leap Day and has February 29th as their official birthday will have a chance to get free cupcakes from the local grocery store.

According to the press release from Tops, if you are a Leap Day Baby you get free cupcakes.

From February 29-March 2, 2024 Tops invites anyone born on February 29th to bring in their ID or birth certificate to receive one free four pack of Tops gourmet cupcakes! One for your birthday this year – and one for each birthday you missed.

That is not the only way that Tops is celebrating Leap Day babies as well. They will also be taking care of one very special baby this year on Leap Day. They have teamed up with Oishei Children’s Hospital and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital to award the first baby born on Leap Day 2024 with a special prize pack.

This first baby born on Thursday will win $2,900 in free diapers, food, and formula from Tops. They will also be giving all the new moms and dads on Leap Day gourmet cupcakes to celebrate this unique birthday.

This Leap Day offer is good at all 148 grocery stores in New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.
